About Dr. Sebek

Mary Sebek was born in the Chicago area and raised in Fort Dodge, Iowa. She attended Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. She graduated from Creighton University's School of Dentistry in 1978 and was honored to be inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Society. She entered the National Health Service Corps after graduation.
A desire to teach brought her back to Omaha in 1982 where she established a practice in general dentistry which she maintained until 2001. In addition to her dental practice, she held a full time academic position in prosthodontics for five years at Creighton University's School of Dentistry. During that time, she and her husband, Joe Phillips, were involved in the Institute for Latin American Concern providing dental care and agricultural methods to impoverished individuals in the Dominican Republic. Mary served as the dental director for this program. Her interests led her to become the prosthodontic member of Boy's Town's Hearing and Speech National Research Hospital's Cranial Facial and Cleft Palate team. After many years of continuing education and a deep interest in occlusion, Mary began a rigorous course of study which culminated in February of 2001 with completion of Level IV of Orognathic Bioesthetic International's Reconstructive Dental Program. She continues to expand this knowledge base with continuing education. Mary continued to practice in Omaha until the end of June of 2001 when she and her family moved to the Seattle area for her husband's work. Joe and Mary are the parents of three children.
Mary opened this practice in October of 2002.
